The 84th Academy Awards will be presented on Sunday, February 26, 2012, Academy President Tom Sherak announced today.
The ceremony will again take place at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center® in Hollywood, and will be televised live by the ABC Television Network. A 90-minute red carpet show will immediately precede the ceremony broadcast.

The Greater Cleveland Film Commission has announced that the 4th Annual Road to the Red Carpet gala will take place on Sunday, February 26, 2012. The event coincides with the telecast of the 84th Academy Awards. The Hollywood inspired black-tie event celebrates the best films from the past year, while supporting the Greater Cleveland Film Commission’s mission of economic and workforce development.
The evening promises to provide a true Hollywood experience for all in attendance. Guests will stroll in on a red carpet passing swarms of paparazzi. Inside awaits a selection of swanky cocktails and delicious LA inspired dishes. Throughout the evening guests will have the opportunity to practice their best celebrity poses at one of the glamorous photo-ops as well as peruse one-of-a-kind raffle and silent auction items.
